Jeep launches its 70th Anniversary editions

Whether many people like it or not, a Jeep is everything many drivers need for off-road adventures, weekend trips or even daily driving. It’s no coincidence that the brand is now within reach of its 70 years of history, and it is going to celebrate them with special editions of each of its models.
All the anniversary models will be distinguished by an additional colour, bronze, to set them apart from the rest. As for the other changes, the truth is that Jeep hasn’t racked its brains too much to come up with anything new, so everything they will have new will be new wheel designs, some minor touches to the interiors and the dashboard, and those commemorative plaques. We would have liked something more than decorative touches from Mopar, which this time only supplies a few minor interior accessories.
The Jeep Liberty, Compass, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Patriot 70th Anniversary will be available through the Jeep dealer network in the USA starting in February. I may be taking a risk, but dyed-in-the-wool off-roading enthusiasts will probably pass this series by.
I think the brand’s 70 years deserve more credit, built on rugged vehicles (although the most recent models are already more loaded with features), but the kind suited to almost any occasion, rather than series designed never to leave the comfort of the tarmac.
