The new Jeep Renegade features a wide range of personalisation options, along with substantial improvements to functional and infotainment elements. The result is a far more appealing compact SUV. Versatility of use is also one of its strong points. The exterior design stands out for its aggressive and carefree look, represented at the front by the characteristic Jeep grille. The new Renegade is available in four different trim levels (Sport, Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk), as well as in the special editions Night Eagle II and Upland.

Inside, there is a new centre console with a space for smartphones, new cup holders and additional storage compartments, including a net for holding small accessories. Each customer can personalise their Renegade to suit their needs and lifestyle. The new seat materials and the Polar Plunge upholstery are available on the Longitude and Limited trim levels, including the striking contrast of Black and Ski Grey leather upholstery with Ski Grey stitching, available as an option on the Limited trim. The redesigned radio, air vent, centre tunnel and speaker inserts also give the cabin a more modern and sophisticated look.

The new UconnectTM infotainment systems are among the improvements featured on the new Jeep Renegade. They are available with a choice of 5″, 7″ and 8.4″ screens. They bring together a wide range of control, navigation, entertainment and hands-free communication functions that enhance both the driving experience and passenger comfort on board.

Depending on the trim level, the Jeep Renegade can be fitted with the UconnectTM 5.0 system or the new UconnectTM 7.0 and UconnectTM NAV 8.4. These latter systems also feature a full-colour high-definition touchscreen offering pinch-to-zoom capability, and a customisable menu bar with drag-and-drop functions.

Among the features of the new UconnectTM system, it is worth highlighting the ability to control many functions such as the climate control, audio, hands-free calls, navigation and message reading. The built-in radio options are also available to let the driver and passengers listen to internet radio streamed via Bluetooth or connect compatible personal devices to the USB port or AUX connector.

The UconnectTM 7.0 and NAV 8.4 systems are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All UconnectTM systems offer UconnectTM LIVE services from Jeep, which allow users to view and monitor a large number of apps on the UconnectTM screen by simply connecting their smartphones to the vehicle via Bluetooth. With UconnectTM LIVE, the user can access apps such as the Tune In internet radio and the Deezer music streaming service, as well as the latest Reuters news and social channels such as Facebook and Twitter. The UconnectTM LIVE app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and installed on smartphones.
