KIA Syros: this is the SUV the brand is launching in India at a price below 10,000€
Kia is launching the new Syros SUV, a model designed for Indian families, which already has more than 10,000 advance bookings
The family SUV segment has a new protagonist, but not in Spain. It is the new Kia Syros, a vehicle that made its world debut in December 2024 and that has been designed specifically to meet the demands of the Indian market, accumulating 10,258 advance bookings before its official market launch on February 1, 2025.
The Kia Syros combines a striking design with advanced features, in line with the brand’s design philosophy, “Opposites United”. Its futuristic and sophisticated exterior is intended to capture the attention of modern families, while its interior maximises versatility and comfort with just the right amount of necessary technology and, best of all, a price below 10,000€ (at current exchange rates).

The rear seats are sliding, reclining and ventilated, along with a connectivity system that includes more than 80 online functions. In addition, it offers premium options such as a double-panel panoramic sunroof and a Harman Kardon sound system with 8 speakers.
Advanced technology and safety
In terms of technology, the Syros features the first over-the-air (OTA) software update in its class, ensuring owners are always up to date with the latest features. It also stands out for its advanced safety systems, including Level 2 ADAS, with 16 functions such as front collision avoidance assistance, lane keeping and a 360-degree camera.
Safety is reinforced with 20 standard features, including stability control, electric parking brake with Auto Hold and six airbags.
A strategic launch for the Indian market
Serial production of the Kia Syros is already underway at the Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh, following an inaugural ceremony attended by senior brand executives, including Ho Sung Song, president and CEO of Kia Corporation.
The focus on the Indian market is no coincidence: the Kia Syros has been developed following an exhaustive analysis of the needs and preferences of local consumers. “We are delighted with the interest our customers in India have already shown in the Syros,” said Ho Sung Song, underlining Kia’s commitment to innovative, customer-focused mobility solutions.

Although designed primarily for the Indian market, Kia plans to bring the Syros to other key regions such as Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.
