Koenigsegg will unveil a sports saloon next year

The Swedish supercar manufacturer has announced that it will reveal a new car at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, a model characterised by its new 700 hp V8 engine and capable of seating four people.

The company says the design of the new car will be similar to the CCX, however they do not share the mechanicals, as the company has developed the new engine exclusively to fit the body of the car, made entirely of carbon fibre, which will allow the sports car to reach a top speed of up to 350 km/h.

Between 70 and 80 units a year will be sold, distributed across the United States, Asia and the Middle East, at a lower price than the CCX.

As the Swedish company mentions similarities with the CCX, we are sharing some images of this beautiful sports car, just to give us an idea of what the saloon announced for 2009 might look like.
