The year is ending and a new one is arriving, with many novelties ahead to present in the automotive sector. We have seen many of them in recent days at the Paris Motor Show 2014, but brands have kept others for later. Such as today. Lexus has announced that it will update the RX 450h range with some changes in technological and aesthetic equipment.

To begin with, and to refresh its image for new buyers who may be interested in this model, five-spoke triple-tone alloy wheels have been added to the offer. It will also feature a front bumper, which gives it a different and personalised look for this update, integrated into the MY2015 that the brand is preparing and celebrating the crossover’s first 25 years.

In the interior, the Lexus RX 450h will feature new brown leather upholstery, which adds a bit more class to the cabin. Technology is also present in this update of the range. To begin with, the ergonomics of the Remote Touch have been improved, and an entertainment system has been integrated for the rear seats. This can be a portable DVD player or a holder for connecting an iPad.

The DVD can be watched from any of the seven seats independently and it has several playback systems, so you can watch both discs and digital files. Wireless headphones can also be used, and it comes with a remote control for easier use.

As for standard equipment, it remains quite attractive, as it includes a Head-Up Display system, headlights with LED technology, a reclining and sliding electric sunroof, an electric tailgate and a four-mode air suspension to get the most out of driving.

The Lexus RX 450h 25th Anniversary is now available at authorised Lexus dealers in our country at a price of 79,900 euros.
