Living Vehicle HD24, the self-sufficient camper van that allows you to camp for up to seven days

We are still seeing several new releases in the launch of various camper models, designed for leisure time and camping in nature. Among them, we are seeing models that can operate and provide power without needing to be connected to the electrical grid for several days. The American company Living Vehicle has unveiled the HD24, a self-sufficient camper with plenty of space to enjoy.

Like other models on the market, this camper offers all the comforts of home, with energy stored in batteries thanks to the solar panels fitted on the roof. This model is somewhat more compact than other models the brand has produced, yet it has all the comforts needed to enjoy the trip.

This self-sustaining camper model is 7.3 metres long and has an interior with many features that make camping a real pleasure over several days. You can rest in a large bed, and there are also several elements that make users feel at home.

Among these elements you will find a 368-litre fridge, a 42-inch television and a dishwasher, as well as a heating and cooling system next to the kitchen. All these appliances and devices are powered by the energy collected by the solar panels deployed on the awning. With them, a power output of 4.4 kW is achieved. This power can be increased to 6 kW if necessary.

All the energy that is not used is stored in a 72 kWh battery. With a full charge, it can reach up to seven days completely disconnected from the electrical grid. Of course, everything depends on the energy consumed by the appliances. If usage is very high, more energy will be consumed and there will be less energy autonomy.

This camper, of course, is not going to be cheap and is being sold in the United States. It has a considerable price of around 299,900 euros, which places it beyond the reach of most budgets, but it is still a good investment if you enjoy spending your free time in places few people reach.
