The latest launch from Hyundai, the KONA EV, had already shown us several times that it has incredible technology even compared with higher segments, but this time it has set out to take car journeys to another level by elevating entertainment and the user experience thanks to its new V2L bidirectional charging technology.

This incredible and innovative system, which allows you to plug in, power and charge devices both inside and outside the vehicle, delivers 3 kW of power and strategically placed sockets, so you can plug in everything from televisions and chargers to any electronic device. Inside, there is a standard 230 V socket in the rear centre console with enough power to charge laptops or even run small household appliances.

Outside, a V2L adapter lets you use the battery’s energy while the vehicle is parked, opening up endless opportunities for outdoor events, from barbecues to improvised cinema projectors. The KONA EV becomes the power source your gathering needs.

Take the energy with you wherever you go

The V2L functionality, combined with the generous interior space and the great comfort of the rear seats, which recline and fold into a flat, continuous load floor from the second row.
