This is a pre-production version, since the definitive one won’t be revealed until the Paris Motor Show. In it we notice certain aspects that set it apart from the mundane X6s rolling off the assembly line: green flubber, prominent air intakes in its new bumper, and similar skirts between enormous wheel arches.

The suspension has been lowered by 40 mm, and this imposing car rides on wheels fitted with 23-inch rims in black.

It must be said, these tuners have hit the jackpot. After so long building sports cars out of SUVs, one arrives that was designed and conceived from the start to pay tribute to its performance with its design as well. Even so, I think a few of us are left with that bitter taste and that feeling of incomprehension.

Great height, great performance, high centre of gravity, sporty name… nobody knows where to file it, and we least of all, that’s the problem. But let’s admit it: it knows how to defend itself against all that and go after those who can fill its tank. A long life seems to await it.
