MCA ALA 50, supercar from Monaco

Monaco is one of the smallest countries in the world, yet its import of high-performance cars is the envy of many, since you can find Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and many other renowned brands there without having to search for them.
However, the principality is also home to supercar manufacturers such as Monte Carlo Automobile (MCA), which currently celebrates 25 years of existence and has developed a car called the MCA ALA 50 to mark its anniversary.
The suffix AlA 50 has been added to the car as a tribute to Prince Albert of Monaco on his 50th birthday, but it also symbolises the aerodynamic design of the supercar.
Built entirely from carbon fibre, it uses a V8 engine (developed by former sporting director of Renault, Christian Consten), which delivers 600 CV.
As you may be imagining, the car will take part in a competitive event to test its performance, specifically the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010.
After the car’s official launch at the end of this year, there are plans to produce a street-legal version, which will be available only to order.
