Meet the new Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric
The new Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric will have a range of 258 kilometres and will be unveiled on 17 October.

Electricity has arrived at the Renault Kangoo. After 25 years since its launch, the model has been updated with a practical design and a sliding side door. The truth is that it is one of the flagship models of the diamond brand, having sold more than 4.4 million units in 50 countries. According to the French manufacturer, “it is the best of both worlds: a family car with an elegant design and plenty of interior space, and a vehicle for professionals with a generously sized boot and a robust build”.
After constant improvements and advances over the years, Renault Kangoo is now available in an E-Tech Electric version for the first time in its history. The new electric version of the Kangoo includes all the practical features, safety and comfort equipment as the combustion version.
A second row that is more comfortable and spacious than any other vehicle in its category: three seats suitable for comfortably accommodating three adults, and an air vent that treats all rear passengers to optimal comfort. A generous boot of 850 litres, the best in its category, which can be expanded to 2,500 litres with the sliding second row folded down.
Everything you need to know about the Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric

The bonnet features horizontal ribbing and a surprisingly upright front, with a grille that houses the charging port behind the logo. The driver’s position has a dashboard finished in brushed dark wood on some versions. Overall it is comfortable, and the driver’s seat is much more ergonomic. Now, the control panel also shows the E-Tech information.
The new lithium-ion battery has 45 kWh of fully usable capacity and consists of 8 independent, easily repairable modules. The new Kangoo E-Tech Electric can travel up to 285 km according to the WLTP homologation cycle, which is enough for most daily requirements and reduces the cost of ownership and use to new lows. The batteries come with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty. Beyond that, Renault will replace them free of charge if their capacity falls below 70% of their nominal capacity (SoH).

The new Kangoo E-Tech Electric comes with a 90 kW motor that delivers 245 Nm of torque available instantly for smooth driving and peace of mind in any circumstances. An Eco mode that limits the vehicle’s top speed (110 km/h) and power (56 kW) optimises its range. The model includes a choice of two integrated battery charging systems: an 11 kW three-phase AC charger for domestic use, and a 22 kW fast AC charger that allows charging from 5 to 80% in two and a half hours, as well as an 80 kW DC charger that recovers up to 170 km in 30 minutes.
The new Kangoo E-Tech will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show on 17 October. Customers can place orders from November, and deliveries will begin in early 2023.
