The star brand brought a substantial lineup of models to Geneva, among which some recent novelties stand out, such as the C-Class Coupé, the already familiar SLS E-Cell, and even commercial vehicles such as the Viano Edition 125. In fact, the folks at Mercedes showed us no fewer than 15 models at the Geneva show.

And the one that drew the most attention for what it represents, the 125th anniversary of the brand and of the automobile, is the C-Class Coupé, which came in two variants: the C-250 and the C-350. The Mercedes-Benz C250 Coupé has a 1.8-litre direct-injection engine producing 201 CV, while the C350 Coupé is fitted with a 3.5-litre V6. Both are rear-wheel drive and feature the 7-speed automatic gearbox, exclusive to Daimler.

The E- and S-Classes were represented by the S 250 CDI, S 350 BlueTEC and E 250 CDI 4MATIC. And although the SLK is already well known, we could not let the SLK-250 on display, in a beautiful red colour, pass by.

The Viano arrived in the Edition 125 version, which offers “something more” than the simple fact of being a work vehicle: it comes with better equipment and has become the best-equipped member of the Viano family. The engine is also unique within the range: the three-litre diesel V6, together with a suspension that is comfortable yet firm at the same time, and new interiors featuring seats with better lumbar support.
