Mercedes CLA Edition1 in Spain

Not long ago, Chema showed us the new Mercedes CLA, which will arrive in Spain with prices starting at 31,500 euros. A price that we can say is or isn’t appropriate for a car with 120 CV, and one where there are others with more power for less money. However, here you are paying for nothing less than a Mercedes, and that alone carries weight.

Tastes differ, because the CLA remains in the spotlight. And in the absence of the CLA Blue Efficiency variants, the CLA Edition1 will also arrive in Spain, the first sporty variant of this saloon, which incorporates some aesthetic modifications.

The Mercedes proposal is that everyone who wants to buy a CLA during 2013 can opt for the Edition 1 package. The CLA variants covered by this package are the CLA 180, CLA 200 (122 and 156 CV), the 211 CV CLA 250 and the diesel CLA 220 CDI.

The Edition1 adds side skirts, wings, additional air intakes and AMG alloy wheels. Bi-xenon headlights, a firmer sports suspension, sports steering and an interior dominated by ART/Neon leather, along with some chrome details, are also included. The interior also stands out for its leather-wrapped steering wheel and yellow detailing on the seat upholstery.
