Mercedes GLK 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY

The GLK range from Mercedes is already complete, the new GLK 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY complements a range of exceptional quality and performance. The new model will feature a modern twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 CV, with an average consumption of 6.0 l/100 km. The engine itself is not new; what is new in this model is that Mercedes has decided to do away with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, replacing it with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox.
The performance offered by the GLK 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is sufficient to handle any situation: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 km/h. The smoothness of the model’s driving, combined with its high torque, 400 Nm between 1,400 and 2,800 rpm, ensures great flexibility and guarantees maximum driving pleasure.
As mentioned earlier, the model’s consumption, on the combined cycle, is 6.0 litres per 100 kilometres, and it emits 158 g of CO2 per kilometre. These figures represent a reduction of up to 15% compared with the 4MATIC variant and allow it to qualify for the 4.75% rate of the Registration Tax.
The starting price of the model is around 37,500 euros, and if you want the seven-speed 7G-TRONIC automatic gearbox, you must add 2,189 euros plus taxes to the final price. Orders for this new model can already be placed, and the first units will reach the market at the end of October.
