MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde, another novelty for Frankfurt

Alfa Romeo has just added the 1.4 Multiair engine to the Mi.To range. The new engine raises performance, torque, and reduces consumption and emissions. Specifically, compared with a conventional equivalent engine, the 1.4 offers 10% more power, 15% more torque, and 10% lower CO2 emissions.
The new Multiair engines will be available with different outputs: 105, 135 and 170 CV, and can be paired with five- or six-speed gearboxes. These Multiair versions also feature the Start&Stop system, which switches the engine off during prolonged stops, and the GSI system, which indicates the most suitable gear.

But in addition to the new engines for the Alfa Romeo Mi.To range, the new Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde will also be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. A model equipped with the 170 CV 1.4 Multiair engine, an engine with impressive performance and consumption figures. The Mi.To Quadrifoglio Verde can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds, reach a top speed of 219 km/h and, at the same time, is announced with an average consumption of 6 litres per 100 km of petrol.
But besides the engine, the Mi.To QV will feature active suspension, developed with Magneti Marelli, controlled by the DNA system, which evaluates the car’s movements in order to adapt to them. It also has some exterior details such as specific 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as side logos above the indicators, or satin-effect rear-view mirrors.

The remaining versions equipped with the 1.4 Multiair engine are the following:
- 1.4 Multiair 105 CV: 0-100 km/h in 10.7 seconds, top speed of 187 km/h, average consumption of 5.8 l/100 km and emissions of 136 g/km.
- 1.4 Multiair 135 CV: 0-100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, top speed of 207 km/h, average consumption of 5.6 l/100 km and emissions of 129 g/km.
- 1.4 Multiair 170 CV: 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, top speed of 219 km/h, average consumption of 6.0 l/100 km and emissions of 139 g/km.
