Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross: the compact SUV gets a significant discount

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross sits in size between the Mitsubishi Outlander and the Mitsubishi ASX.

The arrival of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross in our market took place a few weeks ago. This is a model entering one of the most competitive segments on the market, that of compact SUVs. In this popular category there are successful models such as the Seat Ateca, the Nissan Qashqai or the Hyundai Tucson. Despite the competition, the SUV that sits between the Mitsubishi Outlander and the Mitsubishi ASX arrives on the market like a breath of fresh air (see our Top 10: “The 10 SUVs that consume the least”). It is one of the most well-balanced SUVs in the entire segment, oroffers a very interesting value for money. Initially, the Japanese compact SUV started at 26,300 euros, but now the Japanese brand has launched an interesting launch offer that reduces its price by 4,500 euros, which places its starting price at 21,800 euros.

To take advantage of this promotion, you will need to buy the car with the financing option offered by the brand. The first units of this offer will be delivered from 2018, although the company is already accepting orders.

During the first stage of sales, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be only available with a 1.5 turbocharged petrol engine that produces 163 CV of power and 250 Nm of torque. Even so, the SUV will be offered in three different trim levels, so prices will vary quite a lot depending on the equipment we want.

If we apply the promotion discount, the entry-level version of the range – Challenge – drops its cost to 21,800 euros. The Motion variant will have a price of 24,000 euros, while the best-equipped version, Kaiteki, starts from 31,500 euros.
