More details about the Škoda Fabia ahead of its official presentation

We have already seen some of the images that have been revealed of the new Škoda Fabia, the latest ones just a short while ago. That is why now is the time to take a closer look at the specifications of this new version of the car. We know, for example, that it has a 330-litre boot, a remarkable capacity for a car of its size and characteristics.
This boot capacity underlines the increase in interior space, even though the exterior is slightly shorter than in the previous version. The reduction on the outside is 8 mm, exactly the same amount gained on the inside, reaching 1,674 mm. In addition, 21 mm of width have been gained at the front and 2 mm at the rear, providing more room for the occupants.
In addition to the increases in space reserved for passengers and cargo, the new Škoda Fabia features 9 “Simply Clever” solutions, the driver assistance system found in the brand’s cars, a number that varies depending on the trim level. One of these applications is MirrorLink, which is featured for the first time in a Škoda model.
With it, the screen of the phone can be mirrored onto the car’s touchscreen, so that it reflects the screen of the mobile device. This way, all the apps on the phone can be used through the car’s system.

Another of the possibilities offered by this new Škoda Fabia is transmitting information about the car to the smartphone, so that its specific apps can make use of that data, storing it or creating routes with exact consumption and range data.
Part of the equipment offered in this new version has little to do with driving and much to do with comfort. Small details that help in day-to-day life and that tend to be missed when they are needed. The capacity for seven water bottles in the cabin, distributed across the doors, centre console and glove box, for example, or the presence of an ice scraper in the fuel filler door.
