More spy photos of the Dodge Challenger, long live the unveiling!

And the difference from the previous ones is not simply the metallic grey colour, but the version.

All the earlier ones we had seen of the Challenger wrapped in that eye-catching orange (my favourite, no doubt) were of the version that will initially reach the market, the SRT8; this time the one caught on camera is the one that will arrive in 2009, the R/T. Stylistically it doesn’t present major differences, but there is one detail that stands out quite a lot: the R/T badge sits on the grille, on its right-hand side, in a way that strongly recalls older models.

But to put it more bluntly… what the heck, what matters is seeing and getting to know the model better in its production form; there will be time later for the rest of the details, so here are more photos after the break:
