The Spanish hydrogen prototype Urban Concept selected for the Shell Eco-marathon

A great piece of news for sure: the Spanish prototype Urban Concept, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, has been selected to take part in the Shell Eco-Marathon alongside 27 other low-consumption cars.
Personally, what has caught my attention most about this prototype is its origin: the IES Alto Nalón, an Asturian secondary school. Built with materials such as carbon fibre and even using a chassis made of honeycomb panel to reduce weight, the Urban Concept seats two people and even has enough room for luggage, all powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.
It is astonishing what can be achieved with enthusiasm and good ideas. From Highmotor we wish them the very best of luck at this great event for which they have been selected.
