New BMW i4: Confirmed for 2021
Harald Krüger, president of BMW, has announced that the i4 will be launched on the market in the year 2021. It will become the fifth electric vehicle of the German manufacturer.
The highly anticipated new BMW i4 has been confirmed by the German manufacturer. On the occasion of the Paris Motor Show, Harald Krüger, president of BMW, has confirmed that the model will be available for sale in the year 2021.
This car was announced at the last Motor Show in Genoa, and following its announcement, it will have the honor of becoming the fifth electric vehicle of BMW.

Other models shown by the brand include an updated version of the i3, or even the interesting electric MINI or the iX3 which will come out in 2020. Finally, the iNEXT concept, which will also reach the market in 2021.
President Krüger has not said much more about the i4, but he has high expectations for the model since the company has already managed to sell more than 100,000 electric vehicles this year.

That means there are more than 300,000 electric and plug-in vehicles on the road produced by both MINI and BMW.
As for its figures, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a total of 4 seconds and its top speed will be limited to 200 km/h. In addition, the i4 will be capable of covering 600 km on a single charge.

To give us an idea, compared with the BMW i3 of 120 Ah, it has a lithium battery with a total capacity of 42.2 kWh and an electric motor that produces 167 CV and 250 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds before reaching its top speed limited to 150 km/h.
The range of the i3, moreover, is around 250 km, and this is where the main virtue of the new i4 can be especially appreciated.

For the time being, no further relevant details about this highly anticipated model are known; however, as soon as there is news, we will be here to tell you about it.
