New details of the Pininfarina Battista hypercar

Automobili Pininfarina has revealed new details about its first all-electric hypercar, named the Battista. All of this is meant to build anticipation ahead of the Geneva Motor Show.

Pininfarina is moving into the territory of hypercar construction with a fully electric approach. This is the Battista, a model whose anticipation is matched only by its incredible numbers.

We are talking about a monster built largely from carbon fibre and several electric motors that, combined, deliver an incredible 1,900 CV and no less than 2,300 Nm of torque.

It is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds, and of course to reach 300 km/h in only 12 seconds. All of this while respecting the environment, with no harmful emissions.

It is expected to go on sale at some point in 2020; however, no more than 150 units will be produced, 50 of which are earmarked for North America, another 50 for Europe, and 50 more for the Middle East and Asia.

Ahead of the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which will take place in March 2019, a new image of the model with the signature added to its bodywork has been unveiled.

Its official public debut, where we will be able to see its incredible lines and enjoy its avant-garde design, will take place on 4 March in Geneva.

In the words of the company’s CEO, Michael Perschke:

“We believe our customers will become true fans of the brand. We have great faith in this new project. Initially, the Battista’s production is limited to 150 units, but one never knows whether this number may increase, depending, of course, on demand.”

For now, everything surrounding this marvellous electric model is a mystery; however, on 4 March we will finally be able to see its look and enjoy its performance, which only invites us to dream.
