New equipment options for the Audi A3 and A4

With the arrival of 2012, the four-ring brand offers us some changes to the A3 and A4 models, aimed at giving its customers a higher level of equipment. Thus, the optional packs Genuine Edition Plus, S Line Limited and S Line Black Edition are added to the A3 range.

Meanwhile, the Audi A4 and A4 Avant receive the special series Advanced Edition. Starting with the compact model, both the A3 and the A3 Sportback incorporate the Genuine Edition Plus pack as well as the entry-level range, and add the equipment of the Basic Plus Pack with cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels or Bluetooth.

The price of this edition is 20,330 euros, while for the A3 Sportback it rises to 21,560 euros. The next model is the S Line Limited, based on the Ambition trim, which incorporates the S Line exterior pack. It is a limited edition of 500 units priced at around 22,830 euros for the Audi A3 and around 24,050 euros for the A3 Sportback.

Finally, at the top of the A3 range sits the S Line Black Edition, the sportiest and most exclusive version, with the S Line exterior sports pack, 18-inch alloy wheels and rain and light sensors. All of this for 25,230 euros, and 26,250 euros for the Sportback.

In the case of the A4 range, the special Advanced Edition is added for the models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engines of 143 and 177 hp in the saloon and 136 and 163 hp in the Avant version. It includes, among other things, the Technic pack with Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED rear lights, the Audi rear Parking System, and, on the 177 and 163 hp engines, special 17-inch alloy wheels.

Prices for the new special edition range from 30,800 euros for the Audi A4 2.0 TDI 143 hp Advanced Edition manual up to 39,540 euros for the A4 2.0 TDI 177 hp quattro S tronic Advanced Edition in the saloon, and from 33,100 euros up to 41,900 euros respectively for the A4 Avant with the same engines (136 and 177 hp).
