New luxury sedan, Nissan Teana

Named the Teana, this car was developed by Nissan together with its Chinese business partner Dongfeng, and was unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show.
According to the information provided, the differences between the production version and this concept are minor, but there are still some design changes that need to be corrected.
This car will come in two models: the standard Teana in a dark color, and a more luxurious version called Teana XV in a lighter color, which features the Japanese company’s panoramic sunroof system.
Its power will come from the award-winning Nissan VQ V6 3.5L engine, paired with a CVT transmission exclusive to the Chinese market. However, models with 2.0 and 2.5 L engines are reportedly planned, available when the sedan goes on sale in late summer.
Since both models share the Western platform with the Altima, Murano and Maxima, there could be an interesting possibility that this sedan is adapted for other markets.
