New Mitsubishi ASX unveiled in Spain

The Mitsubishi ASX kicks off the year by presenting a facelift that will join the brand’s off-road lineup in our country. Although the changes are not particularly radical, the main modification is that the 4×4 version will be exclusive to the most powerful models.
Mitsubishi announces that the bodywork has been slightly modified, with redesigned bumpers and a chrome strip alongside the fog lights. Inside, the upholstery has changed, there are some chrome details on the inner area of the front doors, and the control for activating all-wheel drive is now a button instead of the rotary dial used until now.

On the other hand, the 1.6 i 16V Clear Tec petrol engine producing 117 CV and the 1.8-litre diesel are retained, the latter offered in two variants, one with 116 hp and another with 150 hp from the 200 DiD. All engines will be equipped with front-wheel drive, except the 150 hp engine in the Challenge, Motion and Kaiteki versions.
As for equipment, the following will be standard: ESP, six airbags, driver’s airbag, power steering, ABS, EBD, electric pack, automatic air conditioning, trip computer, cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, rear parking sensor, audio system and USB port.
The Motion adds 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, mirrors with integrated indicators and small decorative details. On top of all of the above, the Kaiteki adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, remote opening of the tailgate, xenon headlights, headlight washers, keyless entry system and push-button start.
The prices of the new ASX are as follows:
