New official images of the Kia Cee'd

Although we will have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show, which will be next month, to see the new Kia Cee’d, the South Korean brand is gradually giving us a preview of its new model by showing us some photos. This latest round also shows us what the car will look like inside.
Kia wants to take a big step forward with its compact, to stop being seen as a “cheap knock-off” and be on the same level as its European rivals. To achieve this, as stated in the press release, the new Cee’d will be made with higher-quality materials, will have a soft touch and a better fit, with a touchscreen and a centre console oriented towards the driver.
Using the same platform as the Hyundai i30, the exterior is a compact that is much more attractive and pleasing to the eye. Among other things, we like the headlights, which use LED lights, and the bumpers, which have a sportier design than before.

Inside, as we can see in the photos, there is a fairly comfortable and attractive finish at first glance. From the steering wheel you will be able to control many features such as the radio or the hands-free system which, obviously, should come as standard.
Until the Geneva Motor Show (8 to 18 March), no further details will be revealed about the five-door version. The three-door version, which will be called pro_cee’d, will have to wait until 2013. Both versions will be powered by the 1.6 turbo with 211 CV.
Kia is pleasantly surprising us, for now, with its new Cee’d. We will see in a few weeks, when we see the final price, whether we will be left speechless or not. We still have to wait.
