New special edition of the Skoda Fabia RS

Following the victory in the IRC 2010, a rally championship set up as an alternative to the FIA’s WRC, with the Fabia S2000 the Czech brand has just unveiled a new special edition of its Skoda Fabia. Don’t expect an extreme engine or a huge widebody kit.
In this way, we are left with what this model truly is: a car decorated in the colours of the rally model, featuring new 17-inch alloy wheels painted white to match the roof.
As for changes, there is nothing else to highlight, since mechanically it keeps the same 1.4-litre TSI engine producing 180 CV and 250 Nm of maximum torque, with twin-charging and a DSG dual-clutch gearbox.
It’s worth remembering that, with this powertrain, the Skoda Fabia RS delivers very good driving sensations, which can be summed up by a top speed of 224 km/h or an acceleration that takes it from standstill to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
Finally, we just need to say that Skoda will produce a limited run of only 200 units, which will be sold at a price yet to be revealed by the Czech brand.
