Mustang Boss 302 keeps making headlines

When this model was first launched, it earned a great deal of praise, partly for its aggressive lines and partly simply for continuing a legendary saga within the pony car segment. But that is not all, because once presented and after a more than prudent amount of time Ford has announced exciting new features.

Among the most noteworthy novelties is, without a doubt, the news that Ford will include as standard with the vehicle a TracKey, that is, a slightly different key that contains very special software which, when starting the car with it, changes almost 200 parameters instantly.

Truly exciting news, since with this key the owner of a Mustang Boss 302 will notice, upon starting the vehicle, a more intense and forceful response from the 5.0 V8 with 440 hp, as well as much greater braking force from the engine, which we assume comes from rapidly dropping the revs when the right foot is lifted.

On the other hand, this magic key will include a two-stage launch control on the steering wheel, similar to that of the Mustang Cobra Jet drag racer, which, together with the rest of its features, can be tested by all its owners on the famous track day that Ford will give them.
