Nissan has unveiled the Juke it had previewed in a social media campaign, the 15RX. Nissan’s latest update this time draws its inspiration from the Star Wars saga and was revealed by the brand in the last few hours, further enriching its range of special models such as the Juke Nismo and the Juke R.

There is nothing new under the sun here. The Juke 15RX is simply a customisation package that will be presented in just two special colours: Red and Purple, accented with a white line running across the entire vehicle. The new 15 RX also includes aluminium alloy wheels with a black finish and a cabin with two-tone details in black and red or grey and black.

So what everyone believed was the “new Juke”, or at least a Juke with some aesthetic renewal, turns out to be nothing more than this special edition, which won’t even be available worldwide but only in Japan. The rest gets an advert tied to the release of the film Star Wars Episode VII, in which the 15RX rubs shoulders with the Stormtroopers.

With no changes to the engine, the familiar 1.6 unit producing 114 horsepower, the launch price in the land of the rising sun will be 1,943,550 yen, roughly 15,000 euros at the current exchange rate.
