Nissan Juke Dark Sound Edition, the small crossover designed to enjoy music

While connectivity is becoming one of the most attractive features for new car buyers, sound and the ability to enjoy good audio quality is a classic. The sound systems that offer the quality needed to enjoy our favourite songs have always been one of the arguments when buying a car, and for this reason, Nissan wants the Juke to become one of the favourites among music lovers.

The Juke Dark Sound Edition will feature a new sound system that delivers the quality that will make music fans enjoy the sound even more. And they will have to hurry to get one, because no more than 1,500 units of this special edition will be produced. To achieve that immersive and powerful sensation of audio, the French speaker manufacturer Focal was brought in to collaborate.

The main selling point of this special version is the increase in speaker power. For the front and rear speakers, power rises from 40 watts to 120 W. As for the speakers that handle the high frequencies, they go from 40 watts to 100, which improves the quality, not just the loudness of the system.

It has been designed in two body colours, Metallic Black and Dark Grey, and will be based on the Tekna or N-Connecta trim levels. It also comes with standard custom elements, such as 18-inch alloy wheels with black inserts. The interior has also been reworked to give it a fresh look that sets it apart from the rest.

In the Tekna version, the upholstery features leather as its main element, although the N-Connecta can have this material partially on the seats. As for engines, there are diesel and petrol units, including a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 85 kW (115 CV), and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel producing 81 kW (110 CV), both with a five-speed manual gearbox.
