Nissan Juke vs Datsun 510: the most pointless comparison of the week

The Inside Line guys have pitted a Nissan Juke against a 1971 Datsun 510 in a race over a pre-set course in the desert. The goal was to see which of the two would be the faster.

And the truth is that, although the test may seem like a splendid way to waste time, it has shown that both vehicles completed the course (which didn’t seem too difficult judging by the video) in very similar times. Just over 1 second in favour of the young Juke, against the rally-prepared Datsun.

It’s still not entirely clear what they wanted to prove with this test, since few Juke owners in their right mind would go racing across the desert, regardless of the “sport crossover” nickname and despite the 4×4 traction.
