Hennessey's Venom GT Spyder
Hennessey has revealed the Spyder version of its Venom GT, the 1,200-horsepower convertible. The Spyder will cost €820,000 and will be produced in very limited numbers.

In case 1,200 horsepower weren’t enough for an almost wild driving experience in the Venom GT, Hennessey came up with the idea that those 1,200 horsepower would deliver new sensations in a convertible. And so the Venom GT Spyder was born.
A convertible in the full sense of the word it is not, since structural rigidity for a 1,200-horsepower monster is more important than any sensation behind the wheel. For this reason, the cabin is open via a targa roof.
Anyone who comes across a Venom GT on the street will notice that the Lotus Elise has a lot to do with it, since the Venom GT is nothing more than an Elise with a V8 engine, with a price 10 times higher than the noble product from Hethel: the price Hennessey will ask for this new version is €820,000.
The Venom GT Spyder will not be very prolific in production. Although Hennessey is one of the most important tuners in the world, it takes effort and resources to build and sell these beasts. Throughout the coming year, it will produce only five units across the convertible and coupé versions.
