Nissan presents a special version of the LEAF, its flagship 100% electric model

Special editions of models from any brand are nothing unusual. They are mainly made because they are the best-selling models, and they are prepared this way to give buyers an incentive to choose these models, which have been specially designed to be more attractive. And now this habit, which we love, is also being applied to electric cars, which are not exactly bestsellers. At least, not yet.
The Nissan LEAF, which is the 100% electric model from the Japanese brand, seems to be establishing itself in the market for cars powered by alternative energies. So much so that a limited edition has been launched, called Acenta Limited Edition. Among the new features included in this version is the 32A Mennekes (Mode 3) cable, which is more efficient than the Shucko cable fitted as standard on the base model.
In just four hours the battery reaches a full 100% charge, which makes it more practical. It is not the only change from the traditional model, as it also features 17-inch Autech alloy wheels. The distinguishing feature is the electric blue colour. This colour was not chosen at random. It is a shade that makes the Nissan LEAF recognisable for what it is: a vehicle powered by electricity.

It also comes with automatic-activation headlights with daytime running light system and rain sensors. It also has a navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen for control. The VE Nissan navigation system fitted informs you about the nearest charging points, and the Carwings system allows control of various vehicle systems, such as the air conditioning, as well as control and programming of the navigator via your mobile phone and tablet.
The Nissan LEAF has become the best-selling car in its class, with global sales of 178,000 units. Little by little, it is being adopted, especially in fleets, since it proves to be a good car that can be used in urban settings without problems and allows you to travel with zero emissions. Do you like this model, or do you prefer a more traditional system for getting around the city?
