Nissan will launch a new compact, the Pulsar

The 20 May is the day chosen by the Japanese firm to reveal its new model, a compact called the Pulsar that is ready to go head to head with the VW Golf.
The details are not yet very extensive, but it is also known that the new Nissan Pulsar will go on sale this very year.
The Nissan Pulsar has been developed specifically in Europe and for Europe, at the specialist technical centre that the Japanese brand has in Bedfordshire, England. The production, however, will fall to Nissan’s factory in Barcelona.
The design of this new Japanese model will have a family look, taken from the latest Nissan models, such as the Qashqai or the X-Trail. As a result, the front end will feature a large grille flanked by headlights with LED technology.

According to the Japanese manufacturer, the Pulsar will be one of the VW Golf’s toughest rivals, with which it will compete in numerous respects. One of them is the engines, with which the Pulsar will compete “from the Bluemotion to the GTI”, always with a somewhat lower purchase price.
The Pulsar’s equipment is expected to be just as extensive as what we can find in the Japanese brand’s latest creations. That is why, in the new Japanese compact, we will find a large panoramic roof, an assisted parking system or a navigation system with downloadable apps and an internet connection.
