Novitec reinterprets the Ferrari 458 Italia

If you thought tuners of Novitec’s calibre would sit back when a car as important as the Ferrari 458 Italia arrived, you were very mistaken. It is true they kept us waiting, which can sometimes be a good thing.

Perhaps one of the things that will catch your eye most is the new, exclusive body kit designed especially by the engineers at Novitec for the 458 Italia. Made from carbon fibre and painted in the two-tone finish you see on screen, it undoubtedly makes this supercar an even more aggressive and attractive model, if that is possible.

Mechanically, as is only logical for a tuner of Novitec Rosso’s stature, we find new elements such as an improved ECU, almost race-spec manifolds, and a completely new exhaust line made of stainless steel, which have raised the output of the 4.5-litre V8 in the 458 Italia to 609 horsepower and 569 Nm of torque.

As you well know, man does not live by power alone, and for this reason the tuner has seen fit to fit a suspension almost taken straight from competition which, together with a ceramic brake kit, will surely make this model a true track beast; after these modifications, it will hardly be driven around town.
