Nowack gets a Mini Cooper S up to 230 CV, and the John Cooper Works up to 260 CV

If you weren’t satisfied with the 184 CV of the Mini Cooper S, or even the 211 CV of the John Cooper Works felt like too little, German tuner Nowack has added two power kits that take the Mini past 230 CV.
Nowack’s first kit, the N230, uses an ECU reprogramming together with a new air filter to raise the 1.6-litre turbo engine from 177 CV to 230 CV. In the case of the John Cooper Works, the camshaft performance is improved and the cylinders are optimised to push output up to 260 CV.
Alongside these engine changes, Nowack also adds other aesthetic and performance upgrades, such as a dual stainless-steel exhaust outlet and a much sportier chassis setup. Finally, new 18-inch wheels also stand out.
