Opel Insignia OPC: official images and video

The latest addition to the Insignia family is its most sporty and radical version. The first images of the Opel Insignia OPC have leaked, and we can see what the Insignia OPC will look like.
The new Opel Insignia OPC features a 2.8-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 325 CV and 400 Nm of torque. It will also have all-wheel drive (an evolution of the Vectra OPC). It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds and has a self-limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The suspension lowers the Insignia’s ride height by 10 mm, improving vehicle stability. In addition, the suspension is electrically adjustable from the cabin, offering a comfort mode for country roads and motorways, or a sportier mode. And to stop this beast, it features monobloc front calipers from Brembo, with ventilated and drilled discs measuring 355 millimetres.
As for the wheels, it comes as standard with 19-inch wheels (245/40 R20), and 20-inch wheels with 255/35 R20 tyres are available as an option. We will see the Opel Insignia OPC live at the Barcelona Motor Show in a few weeks (where we can give you some more details), and it will reach dealerships by autumn this year.
