Opel Insignia OPC spotted in performance testing

After the Opel Insignia was presented last month at the London Motor Show, it was not hard to imagine that some company might launch a modification package for the Vectra successor.

However, the surprise comes from the same manufacturer, since a model has recently been spotted from GM’s official Europe performance division called Opel Performance Center (OPC).

It will probably run a twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that should deliver 300 horsepower, and the car is also expected to feature an AWD system as well as a new firm suspension setup to improve performance.

The exterior design will receive custom changes characterized by small sport packages in which the presence of larger wheels is almost always noticeable.

For now there are no further details about this sports saloon, but the following images already let us imagine what the changes will be.
