New Peugeot Expert

The new Peugeot Expert, offers distinctive performance designed to meet the varied uses and demands of each end user. It is a very useful and versatile tool for businesses and professionals in their day-to-day work, making their job as easy as possible. Its renewed design also projects a more than adequate image for those looking for a good representation for their business.

It is available in 3 lengths (Compact, Standard and Long), with 3 trim levels, Pro, Premium and Premium Pack, and with 2 or 3 seats in the front row. There is also the option to choose between the Van, Double Cab, Combi and Chassis Cab bodystyles. The new Peugeot Expert offers up to 6.6 m3 of volume and 1,400 kg of payload, with a usable length of 4 m. The Standard and Long versions, measuring 4.95 m and 5.30 m respectively, sit in the middle of the segment. The Compact version at 4.60 m allows loading up to 5.1 m3 and 1,400 kg, with a usable length of 3.32 m.

The side doors make loading much easier, and with the possibility of hands-free opening, you can put down your items without touching the door, simply with a gentle movement of your foot. At the rear, the vans and double cabs are equipped with 50/50 swing doors, which can be fitted with heated rear windows and rear wipers. Alternatively, a tailgate is available as an option.

The interior features numerous compartments and storage cubbies spread throughout the cabin. In the high-end double cab versions there is a large 73-litre compartment under the bench seat. The audio, 12 V and USB sockets in the lower glovebox allow you to connect and charge portable devices. Accessories available include holders for a tablet of up to 11″ or a smartphone, with an integrated charging system.

The new Peugeot Expert features a new 7″ touchscreen, in addition to the multimedia system. It includes voice recognition, making it easier to interact with the navigation, phone or multimedia, without taking your eyes off the road. Peugeot Connect Nav also includes the Mirror Screen function to enjoy your smartphone’s apps on the 7″ touchscreen. Mirror Screen is available with both Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink technologies, to ensure a wide range of compatible smartphones.

As regards active and passive safety, the Peugeot Expert features innovative systems within the commercial vehicle segment and, from the entry-level versions upwards, offers very comprehensive equipment. It includes driving time warning, driver attention alert, speed limit sign recognition with recommendation, and Active Safety Brake. The Hands-free Access and Start and power sliding doors are offered as options. Blind Spot Monitoring is available with front and rear parking assistance or with Visio Park 1.

The Safety Pack, available as an option, includes the Visibility Pack and consists of: speed limit sign reading and recommendation, Driver Attention Alert, lane departure warning and automatic high beam. The Drive Assist Pack, available as an option, includes the Visibility Pack and consists of: active cruise control, Distance Alert and Active Safety Brake.

It also features the Grip Control adaptive traction system, which adapts the vehicle’s traction to the terrain, whether on roads or low-grip tracks. The driver can select standard mode, trusting the intelligence of this system, or choose a mode using the dial on the centre of the dashboard: Snow, All-Terrain, Sand, ESP Off.

• 1.6 L BlueHDi 115 CV, 6-speed manual gearbox, from 5.1 l/100 km, 133 g/km CO2.
• 2.0 L BlueHDi 120 CV S&S, 6-speed manual gearbox, from 5.3 l/100 km, 139 g/km CO2.
• 2.0 L BlueHDi 150 CV S&S, 6-speed manual gearbox, from 5.3 l/100 km, 139 g/km CO2.
• 2.0 L BlueHDi 180 CV S&S, EAT6 automatic gearbox, from 6.1 l/100 km, 151 g/km CO2.
