Porsche used in a Le Mans documentary to be auctioned

The Porsche 908/2 Spyder 1970 accompanied the legendary Steve McQueen in the film-style documentary about Le Mans in 1971, an event in which he took part four more times after the filming.
The sports car retains its original engine of 3.0 L and 350 hp, with power sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox, which allows the car to reach a top speed of 322 km/h.
One of its greatest attractions, apart from its design and performance, is that it still has the two cameras mounted on its structure, which were used to film scenes for the aforementioned documentary.
This car will be auctioned on 15 August in California, with bidding starting at a base price of 1.5 million dollars; however, it is estimated that it could exceed or at least match the 2.31 million dollars that the Ferrari Lusso sold for last year.
