The pre-production version of the Lightning GT is being prepared

The British manufacturer presented its electric sports car as an interesting concept, and to our delight we had the opportunity to see it at the London Motor Show in 2008.
However, the years went by and it seemed that the prototype would remain just an idea, since the company revealed no details about the car. But a couple of days ago the manufacturer announced that the production plans had been delayed by a couple of years.
It also indicates that a pre-production version is being developed, based on the improvements planned for a model intended for the road; that is to say, its dimensions have been reduced and a rear-wheel-drive configuration has been chosen, which comes from a German manufacturer whose name is being kept confidential.
Other interesting details are that the electric sports car will accelerate from 0-100 km in five seconds and reach a top speed of 161 km/h, and its price will be around 210,000 euros.
