PSC Motors promises a supercar with 1,700 CV!

The newly founded company SPC Motors promises that its first spectacular model, the SP-200 SIN, will deliver 1,700 CV and a top speed of 450 km/h, with a striking design aimed at dethroning the supercars of traditional brands

An automotive company based in Las Vegas has made a promise that we are eager to see fulfilled. We don’t know whether they will ultimately be able to deliver, because what they promise is truly complex and spectacular. The company is PSC Motors, a startup with fairly revolutionary ideas, because the car it proposes, known as the SP-200 SIN, aims to beat Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche and Koenigsegg when it comes to supercars.

The project will be presented during June, although it will not enter production until well into 2016. The design you can see alongside this article is how this prototype is supposed to look, as it aims to become one of the most exclusive and powerful cars in the world. Of course, there is no mention of the price of this powerful machine, which will seek to break every record possible.

To achieve that power, the SP-200 SIN will feature two engines, one conventional and one electric. The first will be a 9.0-litre V8 engine coupled to an electric motor. Working together, they will be capable of delivering the spectacular 1,700 CV promised for this vehicle, which is expected to be remarkable. It will use a dual-clutch gearbox with eight speeds, sending power to the rear wheels. In addition, the electric motor will allow it to run fully electric for 30 km.

With this power, the car will be able to reach 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, a very tight time, and thanks to its top speed of 450 km/h it will become one of the fastest in the world. The components will be made from very lightweight materials, such as carbon fibre and aluminium.

We are going to love seeing a car as spectacular as this one, whose exterior design was the work of Vanatical Design. The project seems to have started moving five years ago and, according to Antonio Calva, CEO of PSC Motors, “nobody needs 1,000 CV, so we’ll give them more”. Lucky the person who gets to drive it, right?
