The R BRABUS Ultimate, a new model inspired by the well-known smart fortwo, is presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. One of the major modifications is in its engine, which features a total output of 112 CV between 3,300 and 3,900 rpm, with a maximum torque of 150 Nm.

This means it can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while reaching 100 km/h requires flooring the accelerator for 9.5 seconds, a more than respectable figure, with a top speed electronically limited to 170 km/h.

Another notable modification is aimed at achieving greater sportiness by modifying the suspension and lowering the ride height by 30 mm. Both on the exterior and in the interior, several carbon-fibre elements can be seen, and it also features a twin aluminium exhaust tailpipe that optimises power delivery and gives it a more sporty character.

Inside, it is equipped with sports seats that provide excellent lateral support on fast corners, as well as air conditioning, a radio and a navigation system. It also features stainless steel pedals and an automatic gearbox.
