Renault 4 E-Tech 100% Electric: the electric return of the icon that will take 2025 by storm

Renault has given an exciting preview of the exterior design of the Renault 4 E-Tech 100% electric ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show on 14 October. This new model pays tribute to the iconic Renault 4 launched in 1961, with a charismatic design and cutting-edge technological innovations.

Among the details revealed, an illuminated grille and a fabric sunroof stand out, elements that underline the modern and original character of this compact vehicle measuring 4.14 metres in length. Like its predecessor, the Renault 4 E-Tech is extremely practical, offering generous interior space and great versatility to adapt to users’ needs. This model joins the growing electric range of Renault, alongside the Renault 5 E-Tech, and is based on the AmpR Small platform, which promises a class-leading interior without sacrificing agility or comfort.

One of the most interesting nods to the past is the illuminated logo on the front of the vehicle, a first for the brand. This element, together with LED headlights and a light signature running around the grille, adds a futuristic touch that blends with the iconic details of the original Renault 4, such as the round headlights and the vertical capsule-shaped rear lights.

The Renault 4 E-Tech is not only an elegant car, but also a modernised tribute to the model that revolutionised the market in the 1960s. It also features a small spoiler on the roof and a sloping tailgate, designed to make loading easier, features that add dynamism to its silhouette.

Renault has also announced the R4 R Pass, an exclusive service that will allow customers to place advance orders for the Renault 4 E-Tech from 1 October 2024. This pass not only guarantees priority delivery, but also offers additional benefits, such as invitations to exclusive events and the option to receive a miniature model of the vehicle at home.
