Clio Renault Twingo Compact Curiosities
Renault announces a new engine for the Clio and Twingo range

One of the perhaps least-discussed novelties at the Paris Motor Show was the presentation by Renault of a new 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine producing 90 CV, designed to replace the outdated 85 CV engine that until now was fitted to the Twingo and Clio ranges.
According to the specifications released by the French brand with the diamond logo, this is a small engine equipped with a FAP particulate filter aimed at reducing emissions. Evidence of this is the figure of just 90 grams of CO2 per 100 kilometres which, combined with an official combined consumption of 4 litres per 100 km, makes it a very attractive option.

For the time being, Renault has not officially announced the price at which this engine, fitted to both the Renault Clio and the Renault Twingo, will reach the market, although we do know that they will be available shortly.
