Renault Arkana 2019: the new compact crossover from the French brand
The Renault Arkana will be unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show on 29 August.
Renault is preparing a new model, a segment C crossover called Arkana. The diamond brand wants to expand its SUV range (as it already demonstrated a few days ago with the new Renault Logan Stepway), and everything suggests that this new crossover will sit between the Renault Captur and the Renault Kadjar in size. The French manufacturer has officially confirmed the arrival of the new Arkana in a press release, where it also confirmed that it will be unveiled on 29 August at the Moscow Motor Show. The new crossover from Renault will make its debut at the Russian show in prototype form, but the French brand assures that the image we will see at the show will not be very different from the production vehicle.

ARKANA: “secret” in Latin
The name of this new crossover, Arkana, derives from the Latin word ARCANUM, whose meaning is “secret” and is usually used to mark events, milestones and relevant phenomena. With this name, the diamond brand not only intends to create intrigue but also to make clear that the new Arkana will not be a conservative crossover, but a model with a distinctive and daring design.

It will go on sale in 2019
The new Renault Arkana will hit the market in early 2019. It will first be sold in Russia, but over time it will be presented in other countries. We estimate the model could go on sale in most European countries, including Spain, from the third quarter of 2019.

There are no further details about the car yet, but everything points to us learning some key information about this interesting crossover on 29 August.
