Renault, as in previous generations, has decided to launch once again in our country a special edition of the Renault Mégane III, which they have named “Generation“.

Basically, this special edition is a set of equipment upgrades that make the Mégane a model well worth considering in terms of value for money if you’re looking for a compact. The downside is that it can only be purchased with the 1.5 dCi 85 CV engine, which in my opinion is a bit of a letdown for this type of model.

Since this package is only intended to improve the value for money of the model, don’t expect improvements in suspension, exclusive colours, alloy wheels… The standard equipment of this model therefore includes:

  • ABS + EBD
  • ESP + TCS
  • Six airbags
  • CD MP3 radio
  • Air conditioning
  • Cruise control
  • Electric pack
  • Trip computer
  • Multifunction steering wheel
  • Electric mirrors

Among the main options, the rear electric windows stand out, at 110 euros, fog lights for 93 euros, as well as the option of ordering the car from the factory in metallic or special paint for just 125 euros more. With the discount already applied, the RRP of this model stands at 16,220 euros.
