Renault-Samsung SM3 (the new Mégane Sedan)

On the occasion of the 2009 Seoul Motor Show, Renault-Samsung unveiled the restyled SM3 as a production model. A change of direction for the SM3, which was normally designed on the basis of Nissan vehicles, and which now takes on a much more attractive design.

But the most important thing is the model that lies behind this SM3 as its base, which is the new Renault Mégane Sedan III, set to be presented in Europe shortly. The design influence is clear, and the side profile leaves no room for doubt: apart from some minor changes at the front, the new Mégane Sedan will look like this.

In the renderings made of the Mégane Sedan a line very similar to that of the SM3 was already visible. For now we do not know the presentation date of the Mégane Sedan III or the details of its engines. But we can say that it will be a saloon of considerable size, measuring 4.62 m in length, and it will possibly share its engines with the Mégane III.
