Reported for riding a motorbike with a barbecue on top

Many of the fines, more or less justified depending on who ends up paying them, that the relevant authorities sometimes impose on us without any explanation, an explanation the “character” in the photo you can see in the header image surely never asked for.
The man on the motorbike goes by the name of Michael Wiles, an Australian who could think of no other way to transport a barbecue than by strapping it to his own body on the motorbike, looking at the road through the grill.
After reading the paragraph above you’ve probably been left, at the very least, stunned. But, to avoid further controversy about this unusual Australian, I will simply refer to the words of the judge in charge of this peculiar case, a judge who perfectly summed up the situation by calling Wiles’s idea “ridiculous“.
Result: A fine of 800 Australian dollars and a one-month driving ban for Michael. In his favour, it should be noted that he has regretted his outlandish idea, calling it stupid, which may have helped the judge reduce the charges from “dangerous driving” to “careless driving“.
