Sales of cars under 300 euros soar as a bargaining chip for the Pive Plan
Demand for used vehicles worth less than 300 euros has soared by 42.6%, as these cars are one of the requirements for buying a new car under the Pive Plan.

According to industry data, demand for cars valued at no more than 300 euros has soared by a percentage that has reached almost 43% since the launch of the Pive Plan.
The Pive Plan, which does not require ownership of the vehicle surrendered as a candidate for scrappage, has given rise to this kind of manoeuvre in order to earn the 2,000-euro aid granted for buying a new car.
Every law breeds its loophole. In this case, however, we are only talking about a valid alternative route for those who want to enter the Pive Plan but cannot do so because they have no old vehicle to trade in: they can buy an old car for less than 300 euros and use it as the basis for a purchase under the Pive Plan.
In this way, not only does the person buying a new car under the Pive Plan benefit, but the elimination of as many old, inefficient cars as possible is also supported, one of the aims of the Pive Plan. At the same time, the movement of supply and demand for used cars does not decline.
