Seat Leon Cupra for the Romanian police

It seems that Romania does not want to be left behind when it comes to police vehicles. A few days ago we brought you the XF that the English police were testing, and now it is the Romanian police that is testing a Seat Leon Cupra for police duties.
The Romanian police seems intent on supplementing its Dacia Logan fleet with somewhat more powerful vehicles. The Seat Leon Cupra comes with a 240 CV engine, enabling it to reach 247 km/h. That is not to mention its good dynamic behaviour and its acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.
For now it is a unit in testing, and it is not certain that they will end up with the Leon Cupra, but it is without doubt an interesting bet as a police vehicle. Here in Spain the closest we have to police Seat vehicles are the Toledo used by the Mossos d’Esquadra in Catalonia and a small number of Seat Altea XL that went to the Policía Nacional.
