SEMA 2010: Chevrolet Corvette Z06X Track Car Concept

As you may remember, a couple of days ago Chevrolet gave us a preview of a very special model at the SEMA Show: none other than a Corvette that General Motors itself has put through an exhaustive weight-loss diet.

Well, your screen can finally show you the first live photos of the Z06X Track Car Concept, a customer race car concept built from a Z06. Looking at this track beast, it isn’t hard to imagine that this is not just a run-of-the-mill concept, and that Chevrolet could easily put it on sale with little effort.

Among the most eye-catching features of this model are perhaps the parts taken directly from the C6.R, such as the adjustable rear wing and the polycarbonate rear window that provides the greatest weight saving. Furthermore, since the C6.R, this special Z06 has been built by Pratt & Miller. Do you need anything else?
